Why I Built It
SimCare gives students a low-stakes place to practice clinical communication before spoken exams and real patient encounters. It tracks patient compliance, student choices, recent dialogue, and a rubric score.
What It Shows
- Branching patient dialogue with recovery paths.
- Rubric scoring for clarity, empathy, safety, and objective progress.
- Short dialogue history so the student is expected to remember context.
- A compact state snapshot for the later API call.

Run a short scenario below with Susana or Lana. For now the demo uses three preset response types: good, neutral, and poor. Later, this should take microphone input from the student.

Why It Matters
The communication side of clinical training is often overlooked or constrained. With this tool we intend to focus on the core of physical medicine: verbal interaction, varying patient compliance, and clear communication inside a repeatable but evolving environment.
